TE [Tris-EDTA] Buffer [10X]

Our TE buffer is supplied as 10x concentrated solution, containing 100mM Tris and 10mM EDTA at pH 8.0., which is commonly used in molecular biology research work, especially, for solubilizing and elution of the DNA and RNA from the column matrix. 

The Tris present in the TE Buffer, functions as a buffer to resist any pH change, and EDTA helps in chelating the cations such as Ca2+ and Mg2+, etc.

The primary use of TE buffer is to solubilize the DNA and RNA, while protecting the integrity of these molecules from degradation.
