Total RNA Extraction Kit – Cell / Tissue

Description

Our Total RNA Extraction Kit – Cell/Tissue provides an efficient method for isolating total RNA from cell and tissue samples using our proprietary buffers and RNA spin columns. In the presence of RNA extraction buffer, total RNA present in the sample lysate binds to the matrix of the RNA spin column. Optional DNase treatments can be followed to remove unwanted DNA residue. The contaminants present in the sample are removed with use of Wash Buffers, and the purified total RNA is eluted. The procedure does not require phenol extraction or alcohol precipitation and can be completed within one hour. The purified total RNA is ready for downstream applications such as reverse transcription (RT), RT-PCR, and Northern Blot, Slot Blot, and Dot Blot, etc.
