Anti-His Tag, Clonility HIS.H8

Cat. No.: 10004 Categories: ,

General Description

Source protein:                           Protein A affinity chromatography purified protein from mouse ascites fluid.

Clonality and Host Species:     HIS. H8, Mouse

Immunogen and Isotype:          HHHHHH (6x His) synthetic peptide conjugated to KLH, IgG2b

Specificity and reactivity:         Detects the epitope of 6x His-Tags encoded by many commercially available vectors, regardless of the tag’s location in the fusion protein sequences (reacts with N-terminal, C-terminal or internal 6X His-tags).

Application:                                  Western blot, Dot blot, ELISA, IHC/IS, Western blot (with ECL) 1-2 ng of His-tagged fusion protein.

Available form:                            50 µg of lyophilized antibody (lyophilized in 10mM PBS, pH 7.2 with 1% BSA and 0.05% Sodium azide; NaN3)

Working procedure:                    Western blot (with ECL) 1:1000-3000 dilution incubates for 1 hour at room temperature. For the best results, determine the optimal working antibody dilution for your protein of interest.

Storage:                                         Supplied lyophilized antibodies can be stored at -20ºC for 3 years. Reconstitute the lyophilized antibody with distilled water to 1mg/ml or a desired concentration before use. Reconstituted liquid can be stored at -20ºC for 2 years. Centrifuge after first thaw to maximum product recovery. Aliquot into smaller volume to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.  Store aliquots at 4ºC for several days to 2 weeks.
